Dr. Anthony Atala grew a new bladder in a lab from a small section of Luke Massella’s bladder. Luke received the bladder as a transplant when he was 10 years old. The bladder has worked for 14 years without further surgery.
This is a link to a graphic novel published originally in French, circa 1837 by Rodolphe Topffer. I found it to be quite amusing and it gives me an idea of how to create a graphic novel of my own.
