I saw that black living rooms were trending on Pinterest, so I thought I would try putting a render together. I have seen a couple of people on HGTV  use black chalk paint for walls, but it did not seem to be something I ever wanted to do until I saw the Pinterest pins. One thing I missed from the television shows that I noticed while working on the render was the dramatic effect black paint brings to a room. I am now open to painting a wall in my living space black.

Cactus was the theme for my render. The coffee table is a 3D printable design I’m developing. I found a beautiful vase on Thingiverse and added it to the scene. Information about some objects used for models are below.
